inexpensive speakers
inexpensive speakers
my front speakers are shot and i cant handle it raddle anymore. i want an inexpensive set because i plan on upgrading in the future so i want to get an inexpensive pair. i was looking on crutchfield and they have a few pairs for 80.00 i don't want to really spend anything over a hundred. i like sound so the most i can get for my money the better.
well it took awhile and just wanted to get it over with so i bought these. not from crutchfield but from amazon. same thing, wayyyyy different price.

for 150 you can get hertz energy 6.5s. awesome speakers especially for the price (they hold thier own against speakers much more expensive)
for the 80 dollar range theres several companies out there that make speakers better then the kenwood or pioneers. my favorites are the re audio 6.5 and the arc audio ks 6.5 but the list of good speakers in that price is pretty long. Id check around your area for some local audio shops

Heard of Hertz energy, but never heard of re audio or arc audio. If you recommend them then I will look into it. Although I am using the stock amp, so do you still recommend the kappas over any of the above speakers?
if your using the stock amp then infinites are the only way to go while still using the stock amp IMO. if you were to do an amp bypass or just run a set of speaker wire from the clarion deck straight to the speakers then the hertz energy is a better speaker for about the same price as the kappas. oh and the reference are good speakers too

Alright one more question. Are the Infinities worth the extra money over stock speakers? If this was your only option, would you buy them or keep it stock?
my bad sorry someone else asked me a similar question in pc with a clarion deck.
the inifintys will be better then stock even the reference. Even if they were 3ohm instead of 2 ohm (which i think they are) they should still get at least the same volume and sound better. if they are actually 2 ohm then they will be louder and sound cleaner too
