Then why do they sell the kit with the replacement screen underneath the head unit? Is that for cars that have onstar, maybe?

a deckwill nevfer take that DIC away. maybe if u only have onstar to keep it. there is a dash kit out that has another DIC built in to keep onstar..thats all.

 

you mean repeat the same infomation over and over that your DIC still works after replacing a HU
