Interceptor question

I have an 07 ss/sc, what are the disadvantages of not taking out the jumper and just powering it from the OBDII port by plugging it in and out when you exit/enter the car?

why wouldn't i use the external power wire provided? not a fan of splicing whatsoever, just curious to see if there would be issues just doing this

You have to splice? I was under the impression it will just power down once the car is off with the clip removed.

But to answer your question nothing, maybe wearing out the obII port with the constant unplugging/plugging but not likely

Not sure if serious.

Disadvantages? You'll FORGET. Then it's goodbye battery.
