IPod Integration

Just wanted to let everyone know that we have started carrying IPod Integration cables as well as other select audio visual equipment. (Nav systems and blue tooth integration systems as well!)

I wanted to post some info on the Ipod integration as I figured this would be one of the more popular integrations that people on this forum would be interested in.

Pictured below is a photo of an Ipod integration cable that uses RCA cables to integrate into your audio system.

Here is some additional info on these integration cables:

Use this cable with a stereo that has the Aux Audio input feature and connect to an iPod. Plug this cable in behind the stereo using the RCA plugs or the 3.5mm phone plug for OEM stereos with an Aux input. Refer to the instruction manual of the stereo on selecting the audio input for the stereo. This cable provides audio and charging.

ALSO AVAILABLE, integration cables for aftermarket head units: Eclipse radio, "Ai-Net" bus Alpine stereo, "M" bus Alpine stereo, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony, AS WELL AS AV cable integration of Ipod. So there are some options for you guys looking to have an Ipod easily and cleanly functioning in your cars. Just an FYI

You can find the RCA Cable Ipod Integration setup on our website. CLICK HERE!

Does this work on an 05, so I don't have to run an FM modulator? I'm not thinking it would.

The specific cable will work as long as there are RCA ports available.

From what we understand, late model 06 and now 07 models are coming equipt with audio input jacks on the factory head units, which will work with this setup. As far as the earlier headunits, it will depend on if there are audio inputs/RCA cables in the rear of the headunit.

only the 07's have the ipod plug, I'll have to pull the headunit out on my 06 and see what I find.

Yeah I just searched, all 05's and probably most if not all 06's do not have any type of input in back of the stock head units.

Not to hijack the thread, but is there any way for an '06 to integrate an ipod without the FM modulator since this product doesn't seem to apply to my lowly '06?
