JL 10w3's or Kicker 12L7?

I have a Kicker 12" L7 that I was thinking of installing, but my friend is giving me his 2 10" JL w3's and I was wondering which ones I should put in. I know JL makes much better subs, and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna go with them, but I was just wondering what other peoples opinions were.

l7 will be louder jls will be cleaner. thats assuming they both are in crap boxes or both in good boxes. if the l7 is in a crap box and the jls are in a good box the jls could be louder.

Thank you. Yeah that's what I was figuring. My L7 is in a kicker box that it came already installed in. I dunno how good that box is but from what I'm told the box that the JL's are in is a good box.

id rather have multiple 10's then larger 12's or 15's. the bigger they sub gets the sloppier. id go with the jl for a clean sound, but thats jsut me, if you want a loud sound go with the l7.

the best thing for you to do is put those jl's in a cardboard box and send them to me so i can use them in my winter car
