This is the first post in a long time I actualy read all the way thru....I want to start on a custom box soon, but I'm worried about weight. But I will do something small like 2X10" Kickers probably or Pioneers but unsure yet. Thanks for the tips and you kinda learned me the hard way so when I start it should go a little faster.

well just incase you didnt catch it in this thread. Instead of using just filler when you get to that stage you mix your filler and fiberglass resin 4:1. Until its about the consistency of a mcdonalds milkshake. Add hardness then paint it on the box. Make a big patch and paint it on the whole box then start sanding. Makes things alot simpler then applying over and over and sanding by area and what not

ok so here is it with some paint.. I have decided to try something different. I am going to go buy silver texture paint. I want to texturize it but after I I get some texture with it I am then going to paint over the silver with primer and then paint it with this blue again. So I will have textured metalic blue specks. Its pretty damn smooth but for some reason i want it textured now
