It's Clarions Competition Series.

Top of the line.

Kevlar Cone and spider vents and what not.

Very happy with my purchase .

Well the Retail for the sub is $599 Canadian.

I got it cheaper because I'm a Clarion Dealer.

I've got a Kenwood Class D.

750 Watts RMS at 2 OHMS.

It's enough for me.

what type of music do you listen to that goes down to 15hz, and what type of ears do you have that allow you hear that low? lol

most humans can't hear below 20hz, which is why i ask. did you go and listen to the sub and then buy it because it outperformed others, or did it just look good on paper?

I like low frequencies also,15Hz what wrong with that. Its not all about hearing its about feeling in loud bass you dont really hear past 50Hz unless the volume is low, YOU FEEL IT. Thats what having a nice loud system is all about. I havent heard the clarion sub, but I'm sure its not too bad. You probably could have gotten another sub that would out-perform that sub depending on what sound your looking for.

I don't really care that much about car stereos, as long as it can hit hard when I want it to I'm happy.

and I don't know much about OHMs to be honest but I know the amp I've got is good enough to power the sub just fine

it just depends what you want it to do. his enclosure could also be taking up some of the spare tire well, you just might not be able to see it in that pic.

I would just rather take up all the space, that way there is less to clean and you wont put stuff on top of it.
