Will this unit fit? Anybody have this installed? pics?

What dash install and harness kit should I get, will the one off ebay work??

 

It should fit. You migh have to cut the plasitc in the dash but it will fit. The kit is Metra 95-3302 and harness xsvi-2103 dont forget about the antenna adapter too 40-gm10. There might be other harnesses out there thats just the first one I found.

Online is way cheaper. ebay has the harness for 50 and I found all the parts at installer.com

 

06 uses the cheap harness 70-2103

Are you positive that is the harness number? I don't have onstar, I just need the harness for the safe install

 

it wouldn't matter if u have onstar thats a whole different ball game. yes thats the correct harness number and the color is blue.

 

I also just checked and it does not say 06 cobalt....final answer before I buy?

I checked the part number for the "cheap" harness that the 06 needs and it said that it fit the 05 cobalt, not the 06

 

I want steering wheel function as well....what piece do I need for that? or is it not possible?
