Kicker 10" L5

i just bought a 10" Kicker L5 sub and a Kicker 400w amp. i am wondering if anyone else has an L5 and how does it sound, because i haven't installed it yet and i'm wondering what to expect. i mostly listen to stuff like The Devil Wears Prada, Once Nothing, Gwen Stacy, Norma Jean, stuff like that. i'm just looking for a nice tight sound, but something that will go nuts if i want it to. thanks in advance!

matt

kicker squares arent very sq oriented but make bass. dont get to excited with double drums and all that because the l5 aint doin any of those

it will sound ok if you want quality you should sell the sub and get a JL w3 10" that would sound way better

They probably have the same problem I did. My Type-X 10" would cause my rear view to just move down to the point I was staring at my back seats....

so the L5 was pretty crazy for the 5 hours it was hooked up. i was at a friends house tuning it when some kid rolled up and liked the sub and amp. he offered me $500 for it so i sold it lol. i paid like $400 for it open box at circuit city so i was happy to sell it to him. i just ordered a 10" W3 and a pioneer amp. it will be around 250 watts so it should be more of what i am looking for.
