little help for a noob

ok guys i have an 07 ss/sc and i bought a flip out screen..its a phase linear uv8...ive been searching through all sorts of stuff on here and i cant really find a straight answer...i have xm and onstar..but my xm trial has ended and im not keeping it..on star isnt a big deal..nor is the steering wheel controls at the moment..i just want a basic harness and plan to loose all the annoying chimes and turn signal clickers...will the 05-06 standard harness work for my pioneer sound system..or is there a model number that will work other than the $150 metra gmlos connector?

if this HAS been answered before im sorry..i dont have a lot of time to search through all the threads..and after a week of searching i just want a straight answer...

thanks in advance

If you don't want On-star or XM, just go on ebay and buy the cheep wiring harness.

EDIT: Here you go. Click HERE

07's are wired differently. I can prove it you, I have an 07 and you lose the chimes, signals, etc when you take out the stock radio. Try it yourself, disconnect your radio, start your car, and try your car out.
You need the GMOS-LAN-03 for non-pioneer systems and GMOS-LAN-04 for ones with Pioneer.

i belive it is the GM LAN 03 harness that you need, and it is pretty expensive, like $120 +
