Generally I would tend to stay away from Jensen, but thats just me.
I would also try to look for a double din unit not the motorized ones that come out and fold up. The less moving parts you have the less of a chance something is going to break.
When picking a HU stick to the name brands, its worth the extra money

damn spun thats where i went wrong mine is motorized. but i agree with said statement 100%. my kenwood will break before a pioneer4000dvd

infact ive seen a broken double din from a few years ago. very similar to mine other then features and they spiced the interface up but it folds the same way. or used to now its manual style

um honestly i didn't notice too much inf any difference. but i have something like 200sqft of the damplifier pro alone, 3 gallons of spectrum, 3 sheets of LLP, 2 sheets MMP, 1 sheet HWP

i wasnt expecting too big of a diffrence. i did notice when i took off the stock engine mat it got alot louder so if you dont have one i would buy one and add the extra few sheets of damplifier pro or dynamat extreme under. that would make a big diffrence over just metal if thats what you have

lol ya i know... um the damp pro isnt supposed to make a super big difference in the high freq of the whine but the MMP is but like i said ill have to see. My supercharger is ported so its pretty damn loud... i can sacrifice a little bit of volume if the rest of the engine noise disappears but like you said i really dont want to quite it down

gotcha, and it would be nice to get rid of the excess engine noise, I like the SC whine, and i like a little bit of exhaust note, but sometimes the engine just makes NOISE.
