my hid high beams

i have a question about my hid kit. i bought a hid hi/low kit thats plug and play and when i switch to my high beams they get brighter for a second then go back down. If i was to buy a relay harness would this fix that problem and would i need to buy a harness for each headlight???

Is it the high/low as in hid low, halogen High on one bulb, or a bi-xenon type where the cutoff shield just moves?

Bixenon. Got it.

Have you attempted to make a harness that supplys power from the battery terminal in the engine bay rather than through the headlight wiring? You basically use the oem wires to trip a relay that lets power flow from the battery directly to the ballasts.
