need help

anyone know how to take off the window crank off the side panels?? im puttin in my 61/2 and got all the other screws out the only thing is i cant figure out how to take out the window crank and i dont wanna break it. i assume it pops off but i cant find and tab to release it.....anyways i could use some help ASAP

ok i found a little metal thing that i can barely see im assuming its some kind of clip but its ******* impossible to get too and im a botu ready to rip the door off....

In my old cavalier there was a metal clip that you had to pull out from the handel. It was a bitch to pull out and to put back in.

theres a special tool used to pull out those clips, you could probably go to auto zone or napa and they should have one in stock, it should only be a few bucks.

Yeah, i think i've seen the tool voctory is talking about. not very expensive and better than breaking something.

I worked at a glass shop and every time we had to get those clips out we just used panel tools that should get it out for you

just use a rag to losen the C clip. thats what I did, it works like a charm.

If you are replacing the front 6.5"s im wondering why you would use 6x9s. 6.5s have way better sound quality then 6x9s.

aight i got everything finished today, no i put 6.5 in the front and i have 6x9 in the back......the rear ones went smoothly they fit right in and the side speakers were not as easy i had to drill new holes since there werent any but it was easy just took a little extra time. It sounds great now, thanks for everyones help.....i just got my black forte rims put on too ill post pics when i get a chance....pce
