I would run 4 gauge to the amp. I don’t think you need a cap but if you want one go with at least 1 farad.

Well thats the one I kind of picked out and I was wondering if there were any reasons I shouldn't get it or if there were better for the same price.

Well on woofers etc you can get for $260. You can pick up a few different kinds of hu's for that price. Thats a cool style hu, if you like it go for it. Im an alpine fan, I've had pioneer before they are good radios I just didnt like the way they sounded. Cant really tell you why just didnt sound right to me.

My fusion already has bluetooth so I don't want to lose that thats the main reason I picked that one. And i've always heard that pioneer makes good heads, but I might go look up some alpines.

its a decent head unit especially if you must have double din. there are better pioneer units if you are set on that brand.

DEH-P800PRS has a better equalizer 16 band eq over the 7 band. you can pick one up for around $350
DEH-P980BT also has a 16 band eq but the sound quality is better on the 800. you can pick one of these up for around $300-350. ebay of course.

that pioneer is def nice and matches the balt well. i would stick with pioneer, alpine, eclipse, and some clarion decks.

Well what kind of music do you like to listen to?

Rap its better to go ported.
Rock sealed is the way to go.
If you listen to both I'd say do ported.

I can explain why if you'd like
