Need some help with box size.

Ok so Im looking at a box thats 17.00 in. x 34.00 in. x 20.50 in.

Thats the box Im looking at geting but dont know if it will fit in the car and dont have the car right here to look and see.

box for sale

For how big our trunk is, our openings suck. I've been having trouble getting my box in either way. PM me if you want a great deal on a dual bandpass box with a fiberglass front.

It won't fit your Cobalt trunk unless you take apart your car....

I've got a 15" sub, but the box is 16" tall and our opening is right around 16" - still haven't attempted to try to put it in yet... 17" is pushing it, I think..

I was looking at the Q-Logic QLH-12D125 Type 1 dual 12" hatchback box Item #044QLH12D2 at crutchfield and I was worried about getting it in there. I have a single 12" wedge box in there now and I had a tough time getting it in from the front of the trunk. Badmunky, is the box your looking at from a retailer? I would like to check it out if it is. Anyone care to tell me if the cheap q-logic box I'm looking at will fit? My measurements say it's going to be tight....I guess I could use some reassurance before I buy it. Dim's are 33-1/4"W x 15-1/4"H x 14-1/2"D1 x 9-7/8"D2. I've been wanting to ask this question for some time but I STILL can't make my own threads. I missed the email and so far haven't had luck getting a mod to fix it for me.

its a tight squeeze but you might be able to pull it off.

I think you might need to use a dremel and trim a few bolts that are hanging down to get it to fit properly

I would assume your talking to badmunky, cause that is a pretty large box. hackabuse, are you telling badmunky it's a squeeze or me? If your telling me it's a squeeze then badmunky is going to have a REAL hard time....As for my setup, 2 kicker cvr 12's I have laying around. Going to push 300w rms to each with two rockford 301m amps I have from my old car. Just piecing together some junk that I have, all that is missing right now is a box, the one I had definately won't fit so it's gone. I am going to use the factory HU and everything for now too. Gotta stay low budget for awhile, but I want to mess around with what I've got. Sucks cause I'm used to pretty nice systems, but the money is better used elsewhere right now.

Im saying that BadMunky will have a squeeze

You wont have any problem whatsoever with a 15.25" tall box

The baox I want to use is a preloaded box from JL Audio. It has 1 12w7 in it and I'm going to power it with a 1000/1 RMS amp from JL.

But I'm still not sure it will fit in there.
