new amp and subs...need some help

hey guys, replaced my subs and amp
any who...this new amp has alot more controls on it...and i need help getting everything to work together and make happy noises :P

here is the specs:
head unitEH-P490IB
Reference Power sx800.1 amp
2- 12' memphis audio 15-pr12d4 subs

wut do u need help with? setting the gains on the amp? wiring the subs, wireing the amp, building a box for the subs....????

ok...so i know im the one needing help here, but can none of you read?????
it says it all...this amp has more controls then any i have used before, i already have a box, subs, an amp, and headunit, and it is installed and wired. I need help getting it to work...as in tuning it all


and believe me, i spent hours looking online through google, but most of it is garbage or of no help...


but i am getting help on another site i also asked for help on...so nm

tuning is easy lol put a cd in and get ur tools ready to turn the knobs... ur gona have to do it by ear not by people telling you how to set it... do it to ur prefrence.

that i know for fact is pretty much wrong for someone who doesnt really know what they are doing, i say this because there are diff types of music and tuning for all of them is hard
im looing for someone to tell me what each knob will do, and where a generaly good setting for them would be, i can fine tune myself of course, but i have no idea what is what and just playing with them there is an infinate possiblity of combos...

ok, you need to be more specific on what youre asking.

first off, are you getting sound out of all speakers?

yes, everything including the sub works, tech i could leave ti and it would make noise, but i want to tune the subs so that they perform at optimal settings

it would help if we knew wut amp u have

and u have to set the gains correctly or esle if u set the gains to high ur gonna send a clipped signal to ur speakers n well...bye bye speakers

use an o-scope to set ur gains
