New Car Stereo Setup Help
Hey guys, I'm trying to work on my sound system in my balt and me and my audiophile buddy have been scouring the web for some good deals on great sound. Any, these are some of the things we came up with:
Speakers
Dls Ultimate Up6i
OR
Morel Dotech Ovation 6
OR
Polk audio MM6501
Speaker Amp
Precision Power PC400.4
OR
Kicker ZX350.4
Subs
2 Massive AUdio Kilo 122
OR
???
Sub Amp
RE Audio DTS-1000.1
OR
???
I'm trying to stay at a budget of around $1200. Any advice, suggestions, or criticisms would be welcome. Especially from you Emp!

If I'm u bro try to get a highout put alternador so ur battery won't drain cuz u gonna Hav 2amp's ...and for the speaker and amps pick out wat u like but try to avoid the cheap brands.cheap amp's get hotter quick and they suck more power that they say and for the speaker the sound quality is way different ..I would do this polk audio speakers kicker amp... alpine,jl audio, sound stream, sub wat ever u like...wit 1200 budget u gonna Hav a good sound system good luck wit ur set up and Hav fun wit it
idk how the new ppi amps are but kicker is good for what it is. very recommendable but not like a SQ amp
**** that re amp, subs idk. i wouldnt go polk but on the other 2 personal preference

polk isnt bad equipment at all but there's nothing impressive about them DLS or morel are probably going to sound better (i've only had limited experience with both but liked what i herd)
i gotcha, my buddy has polk speakers in his jetta and it sounds pretty nice...
the DLS site look real nice, never heard of that brand but seem real high quality.
sorry for thread jacking OP

Just install a second battery and run all your high power accessories to it... just make sure you add the proper fuses to the accessory positive cables. Amps, Interior Lighting and Underglow would benefit greatly from this.
