New custom sub enclosure - pics

(with new gear)
I wanted the trunk to look a little nicer so built the custom enclosure. took about 3 days to build.. SO EASY! wrapped it in the black and red vinyl to match the red/black from the interior of the car.
i also think im going to add a red strip of vinyl over the black strip shown so it looks like two black pin strips. also at the bottom of the new red strip ill sew on SS in black.

Im replacing with infinity subs.. i needed subs that require 1.25 cubic feet of space each to go into the current box, and besides the P1's i have in now, infinity was my other option (that i knew)
as far as the amp goes its a Kenwood KAC-9103D. Its a little on the cheap side but im also 17 and not made of money.
Also.. some ideas about getting a clean look on the amp rack i was thinking about doing a rectangular border, the shape of an "L" around the perimeter of the amp (and wrap that in red) just to hide all the mounting brackets and what not. i cant do too much other than i have now because the board the amp is mounted onto is using the factory sub box mounting screws for the ease of undoing and redoing it.

thanks for the comment man, and about the subs, i used to have rockford P1's when i first made this enclosure and was looking for new equipment ideas, but last week i just bought the kicker cvr's that are in there right now.
i spent 140 on both subs that are 400RMS and figured i would save some money with that other than pay double for only 100 more RMS. i agree though Type R's are the way to go, but if your anything like me, your money has more important places to go.
and i was reading around in other forums and saw that your thinking of putting 8's by the rear speaker deck am i right? hows that coming along?

and i hate looking at a bunch of wires everywhere so i think im going to tuck them under the amp (i have to amp on 1" blocks to keep it cooler) and run them through the back by the tire well. Other than that its almost a finished project.
And im sure ill always think of more little creative things to add though..
oh ya u had a diff amp before just hanging. lol it sorta looked the same (sry) but tucking the wires and maybe even using a bit of wire loom would do wonders. Its just sorta hard to tell whats going on from that angle
yeah i pretty much just swapped out equipment from the last time ive posted anything.
and i looks nice and simple which what i was going for, unique but not overdone.
but this was my first real trunk mod/car audio mod that ive done and i had a lot of fun with it, so ill be doing more projects in the future for sure

It was really easy.. the part that took the most time was the amp rack.. i wanted to use the stock ss/sc studs so i could take it off and on when i want, and getting all those holes perfectly aligned took some time.
but if you want to do something like it i can go through how i made everything.

its rather makeshift but it is sufficient.

um about the 8's i wanna put them by the backseat area. like if you take the big panels off underneath the little windows in the back, there are openings big and deep enough for an 8 inch sub. i dont know if im going to to it because i dont know if the amp i have now will do the trick and i dont want to spend another 100-200 on an amp for just 2 8's. I would rather save my money and get 2 10's or 12's and a nice amp.

The floor is just black vinyl and straight glued it to the stock carpet mat. With the box, i just made a normal cube sub box for the specs of subs and took 1/4" ply wood and cut it out to mold the trunk size , then wrapped it in the red. and drilled the subs through the ply wood and then through the original sub box. really simple and look clean.
hmm, i didnt even notice those holes when i took that panel off to get to the rear speakers but thats a good idea to work with!
