the air space is very minimal, but i dont listen to it that loud to begin with so its not a concern to me. i just need a little bass. but i havnt noticed much of a difference.

we did a cardboard mock, then just cut the wood to those dimensions. for two 10s, i would make a wall on the back side of the trunk, but thats just me.

ive thought about doing that as well. i kinda wanna put one in each corner just so i have more trunk space. lol gotta make room for golf clubs and what not haha.

what brand fiberglass and resin did you use? the bondo stuff from auto stores or the stuff from online. i think rage or something like that is a popular resin...?

no fiberglass. i made a wood box, and for the face of the box i made a wall to fit the inside of the trunk. then i went to jo-anns fabric and bought some charcol color fabric, and some elmers spray adhesive.

Might want to cover that up unless you never use your trunk...

hmm...thats a pretty good idea. would be alot easier to do than fiberglass the whole thing. did you use anything to make sure it sealed well against the trunk?

personally, i think you should of sunk the sub into it a bit more, and hid the amp. Then again, I like stealth/stock looking installs.

nice set up though. who needs an insane amount of speakers, right?

honestly, that was my original intent. but that box is as far back as possible. there physically is not enough room to make the sub sunk in/flush with the wall, and the wall flush with the trunk. and i wanted the amp hidden on the other side of the board, but their is the chance of it overheating which i didnt want to risk.

SSKevinSC: he was going to put a nitrous bottle there.

I like yours more than I like the stock mount for the sub. Sure, it takes up more space, but it's not like I need to fit 3 bodies in there AT ONE TIME.

you could put your amp underneath the passengers seat. It's where it always goes in all of my cars
