Well when I looked at the link that was posted for the autoloc module. I leaning towards trying that out due to the extra features it has besides the auto down feature.

Snail_SS 08-30-2015 10:04 PM

Haven't looked at it what does it have?

Squints 08-31-2015 12:04 AM

one touch up and down feature plus you can hold down the lock button on your key fob and it will roll them down

Snail_SS 08-31-2015 12:38 AM

Oh nice i tried to click the link but nothing came up

Squints 08-31-2015 12:41 AM

Yeah the server is jacked up. I'm going to buy one and see how I like it. It will have to be after I get back from Vegas next week

Snail_SS 08-31-2015 12:44 AM

Yeah let me know I wouldn't mind a feature like that

I will I'm trying to find a replacement key fob to see if the push button feature works well.

Apparently, there is a feature where you can hold down the unlock button on your key fob and it will roll the windows down.

Dipped_Cobalt 09-24-2015 10:13 AM

^^ my Honda does that.

Squints 09-24-2015 10:22 AM

I know I'm excited to see if it works

Squints 09-24-2015 10:22 AM

Dipped_Cobalt 09-24-2015 10:31 AM

sts? you got me..

Squints 09-24-2015 10:56 AM

short throw shifter

Haven07 09-24-2015 10:57 AM

Sounds cool

brickloaf 09-28-2015 02:53 PM

how about an automatic trunk opener/closer? I have a lot of sound deadening on my trunk lid so when I do pop the trunk its kind of a pain in the ass wedge my fingers between the lid and the bumper to lift it up.

Snail_SS 09-28-2015 03:03 PM

I think the trunk is to heavy to do that lol

brickloaf 09-28-2015 04:58 PM

My mom's SUV uses a large strut to open and close the trunk lid, which is far heavier than ours. We already have 2 struts that hold the trunk up so I don't see why you couldn't replace one or both with automatic ones if you found the right size. Closing the trunk isn't a real issue but opening it automatically would be pretty nifty. I looked at some youtube videos and saw people using die springs on the strut to give it an extra push so the trunk will open by its self.

Snail_SS 09-28-2015 05:15 PM

You have a point that would be nice to have for sure tho

Any update on your project?

Squints 10-09-2015 11:16 AM

I have the key fob. Got it in this past Monday. Haven't had time to wire it up yet been busy. I did install the short throw shifter before I got tied up with other projects. I should be able to wire up the module either Tuesday or Wednesday. When I do i'll update in here

Crav3 10-14-2015 03:18 AM

Where does the module plug in? Looks like an alarm system. I have the omegalink remote start and i think two alarms would not work together for me lol
