New Gauge lights

Cost me 2 dollars to do this little mod...




Used Glass stainer from ACMoore to tint the bulbs

theyre not dimmer, theyre just blue, and i wouldnt want them brighter (using LEDS) , bright lights bug me at night, i can hardly use my high beams because the light on it is annoying

yah man im doing my GF's G5 Pink this friday, we're swaping her red ones for a cluster like mine...

While you were in there changing the lights, you should've dimmed the high beam indicator light too.

thinking about doing this to my gauges, how hard was it to take apart everything? and did you do the hvac and radio controls to?

yah, i did them to, theyre easier than the cluster to do, the fact just pops off when u push in 4 clips around the edges, then a clear control panel pops out and then the bulbs are very visible from there...


the cluster was a little bit more tricky, but not bad, everything clips together and apart, then when u get down to the back of the cluster theres a few screws to seperate it from the board, take the pins off and then it should come right apart, and there is 6 small bulbs very visible on that! if u have any Q's just PM me ! i'll be happy to help you out
