New head unit in an 08, can’t get power

I’ve searched and searched and can’t find anything really. I’ve a JVC Z140BT with the axxess GMOS-LAN-04. I wired it all up plug it all in.... nothing. Searched and rewired it in case of a weak connection.... nothing. Maybe I’m not looking in the right place or I’m just missing something but I can’t get this thing to get power to it.

I know when I originally tried to wire mine I couldn't get sound out of it. The amp wiring is kinda funny so I just wired it totally independent and by passed everything. Course I got a totally aftermarket setup also.

Is the axxess GMOW-LAN-04 the adapter module? I can't help you get that to work but I know when I installed my CD player, it was a long time ago so I am not for sure, but I ran my own accessory wire. The only reason I can think of for why I would do that would be because I couldn't find a good accessory wire to use when I installed it. So someone else will have to help you with making the adapter work but all else fails you can run your own wire.

I was able to get power, kinda. Had to run both reds and yellows together so Crutchfield is sending me a new module. Didn’t get any better because even with power I had no sound. Did some more digging and saw wiring directly to the amp power got sound.

Now I have sound but the static was god awful so I guess I’ll have to do an amp bypass.

I'd imagine it could be a DOA harness. I didn't spend for the GM one, I got the Metra. I like not having all the chimes and signal "clicks", although I do miss my steering wheel controls a little.
