New Kicker Sub

Exclamation New Kicker Sub

alrite guys ive been looking everywhere here for those of you dat got your big sound systems in your balts how many of you had problems getting the sub box in the trunk
heres a few pics of my kicker sub with kicker amps i wanna get into my SS but i can't get that in the dam trunk to begin wit
how many of you had this same problem
the box height is like 16'' and the trunk i think has about 15''

I had the same problem with my old box... I had to drop down to a smaller ported box, best bet though is go for a custom setup with that sub... just look around you can get a good price for a custom built box

take out bottom rear seats... then put down seats and put it in through the back... then u should be good

my single 10" l7 and box had to be put in threw the car and the back seat taken out lol..nobody is stealing that

to get my L5 kicker Sub with Box i had to completly remove my back seat(bottom and top)...and it just barely fit...

wait what r u measuring? u want it upfiring like that? you may be able to fit it rear firing like it should be if you take all your amps and cap off first then put them back on in the trunk

nope trust me id tried it without the amps.. and theres no way to get in thru the back or thru the rear seats like the rest of the guys say
speaking of which... is there a special way to go about removing the seats?

push the bottom of the seat right behind both the passenger and driver seats towards the back of the car and lift up (do one at a time), that should add an inch or so, then iff you need to remove the seat backs you should be able to

ya 16" is the same height as my box and i had to completely remove the rear seats to fit it in (infact you can probably see the foot prints on the face where i had to help it a lil bit
