Red goes to 12 volt source and black is ground for the halo rings then the red from the main bulb goes to battery and black goes to ground

The bulb holder has a metal backet that goes over the back of the bulb. Look in the baggy there is a thin peice of bent metal that goes into the bulb holder on the projector.

1) Are they 35 Watt? If so, they're not going to put out as much light as the OEM style 55W setups.

2) Are they upside down?

yes they're 35W but the last set of retrofits i had were 6000k 35w also and they were extremely bright. no they aren't upside down.

Yes they will. A GOOD projector setup on 35w will ALWAYS outperform a 55 w reflector kit.
