No video and AUX not working? P4000DVD

1)So I did the parking brake bypass, with a relay, I know you can't just ground it anymore. The bypass works fine, I can press ok to view dvd's but when I do it just go to a black screen and I can only hear it, can't see anything. I can interact and go through chapters and play/pause etc.

I found a thread with this exact problem but it was never answered:

2)Also, on my AUX jack, I plug in the cord but I can't hear anything when I go to AUX1 on my unit.

Any ideas? Could I have wired something wrong? I can't find wiring blue prints anywhere.

I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks guys.

make sure your background is turned off on that source or the bypass won't work. as for the aux.....check your cable.

It's not the background thing, but I do think I found the problem.

No videp playback on Pioneer AVH-P4000DVD only getting sound !!! - FixYa

Gonna try it when I get home from work, but I don't think it will fix the AUX problem. Cable is brand new, works in other jacks.

make sure you're triggering the relay with amp turn on and not ignition also...that's another common mistake.

All taken care of. There is a wire that is pinned NEXT to the ground wire, but it's not labeled. Couldn't figure out what it was for. But after I grounded this wire to the relay, video and aux both work flawlessly.
