octoma baterry,
i took factory baterry out, put that 1 in.can i run 2 batterry with out buying a new alternater,but i am running the octoma first, then i wont to run the other battery with it ,but i am afraid the factory alternater wont hold up , what should i do

the factory alternator should be more than capable of charging 2 batteries. I run 3, 12v batteries in series on my engine driven welder and have no problems with charging.

No, the best thin is to get an isolator to charge two batteries. You can find them at RV camping stores or walmart. The idea is to charge the lower battery and not the higher charged one, then charge vice-versa. It puts less strain on the alternator that way. And the isolator only costs like $25

take the Optima back and buy an Interstate battery! I have an Optima red top battery in my camaro and I've had nothing but problems with it. had it for 3 years and I've had it replaced 4 times. It's a $200 friggin battery! Interstate is the best you can buy!
