Onstar Help

Put in my after market deck in the LS and of course lost my Onstar. Going in friday to get adapter and stuff put back in but their telling me that their is two possible parts that may work. Ones cheap, ones not. dont know the names of the parts. Has anyone put the Onstar back in with thier aftermarket deck that may know what part will work so i dont get the old scamo

I would assume that the cheap one will make it so that you still need to relocate the factory unit some where in your car, and then the expensive one will take care of everything so that you can get rid of the factory unit all together.

Will have pics when this is complete. This will allow me to have the onstar built into the dash...im lookin at around 220$ for the install...And dont ask why im keepin the onstar, the old lady renewed my subscription for a year for peace of mind.
