Passenger side- door air bag sensor

First off, I drive an 06 Cobalt SS/SC.

So the other day while putting up the passenger side window I hear a strange noise like something is rubbing against the window as its going up.

Next time I start the car the "service air bag" light is on.
After doing some reading, I now realize that noise the passenger side window made as it was going up was the air bag sensor (not 100% sure if its a sensor, but it has something to do with the air bag) wires being clipped by the window.

Something obviously was off of alignment, I'm figuring the window or the possibility the air bag wiring somehow shuffled around the door.

Has anyone else had this problem? I saw another post with someone mentioning this but didnt really follow up.

If anyone else has dealt with this problem, is it something you can fix easily by taking off the interior door panels, or is it difficult enough to bring to the dealer?

Let me know what you think.

you might be able to fix it. and the light might be cleared by leaving the battery unplugged for a while... i wouldn't risk it thou
