PassKey Bull

Ok so I get out of work and try to start my car...wont crank only clikcing noise. So i check the fuse...fuse is fine. Thinking I need a boost so i call my old man and he brings the cables...not start. Then i notice the symbol on the dash board of my car with the little car and lock. so i look in the manual and it's the passkey anti theft thing. Anyone know how I can get it fixed with out it being towed to the dealer?

I don't have an alarm

10min or more to be exact. or use a code reader to reset.

It sounds like unfortunately you might be stuck with having to go to a dealer with a tech2.

do you have a spare key you can try??? your key might just have somehow been damaged.

o. also check ur fuses.

It's 15min actually. In EMT-Basic training they told us a car can store up to 15min of energy for the air bag. ya, in the book it said to use the other key to see if it's damaged or if the resistor in the key is bad. nothing worked....got it towed to the dealer. My warranty is going to go to **** thanks to the system, intake and all the other **** they'll prolly come up with

When I called my dad he brought the cables and tried to jump it but the passkey anti theft system shuts off the fuel pump until it's flashed

Ok so I got the car back and the issue is as follows...

"Found open cicuit between IPC and BCM...repaired wire open between INST Cluster and Body control Module. Circuit #339 Pink Wire."

I was 1 of 5 cobalts to have this issue apparently....no mods to interfere with issue.

Hm... sounds awful familiar. At least yours happened in your driveway and not going down the interstate. Locked my damn steering and gauges went kaputz. I totally freaked out and then it came back on. The whole time driving to work, that dumb symbol was lit (car with lock). It did this to me 3x and the stealerstupidship said they couldn't find anything wrong with it. Hasn't done it in 2 years, though.
