Pioneer Avic D1

PioneerAvic D1 for $500 is that a good price?
And is it a good unit for the Ls cobalt? I currently have the 7 speaker pioneer system with the Xm radio.

technically it doesnt fit at all, unless you ghetto rig it. someone on here did it, and it looks good, but he said it was a lot of trouble.

well none of the double-dins fit yet, so the best one with the same features is the AVIC-N2, which is basically the same head unit but its a pop-out style, not a double-din. mine is actually in the shop as i write this, getting the ipod interface and nav system put in.

sweet dude. i messed with one of those guys one day, after emailing him questions about the validity and security of his auction set up he couldn't hold the story together anymore. gotta look out for crap like that. remember the old saying, "if it's too good to be true, it probably is".

it says in eBay guidelines NEVER to use Western Union because it offers you no protection...once the money is gone, there's no way to get it back.
