Pioneer Door Speaker

Has anyone actually removed one yet? I was just curious to see if the cone was paper and what it looked like.

I'd personally like to know what size they are, but being Pioneer, it's prolly paper or IMPP

It is a paper code with a wizzer cone in the middle of the cone. The speaker is 2 ohms and it is a standard 165mm in size. look weak as hell and does not look like anything that great.

fake edit: that is all

All the speakers are 2-ohm. What a pain in the butt. That means replacing just the speakers(most all aftermarkets are 4ohm) will yeild lower max volume output. I'm sure you can make up some of that with the better sensitivity you'll get on the new speakers, but we can only speculate just how crappy the originals were rated for.

Yeah? And where can you find a large selection of 2-ohm aftermarket speakers? They are few and far between from places I've looked. Options are limited.
