Question Pioneer Ipod Adapter

Has anyone bought/installed the Pioneer Ipod Interface Adapter?

" Through Pioneer’s IP-Bus system, the CD-IB100II is backwards compatible with more than 3 million Pioneer car stereos sold during the past several years.

You’re able to operate your iPods as easily as you would when using the stereo unit, by front panel controls.

Pioneer stereos will display up to eight characters of text including album, artist and song names, with the ability to scroll additional information. Plus, some newer Pioneer car audio systems allow the adapter to provide enhanced features including multi-line display and list search, taking advantage of the additional display real estate.

The CD-IB100II adapter also takes full advantage of audio enhancement capabilities such as Easy Equalizer (EEQ) and Bit

Media Expander (BMX) for better digital audio reproduction and a fuller, richer, more robust listening experience. "

The stock radio is not made by Pioneer, only the speakers and sub and amp are.

There is no plugin in the back of the radio so even if it were a Pioneer radio, this would not work.

I have it and now I hate it. It used to let me browse my songs when plugged in on the IPOD itself but now for some reason it won't let me and just shows the Pioneer display on the ipod itself so now I have to disconnect the ipod from the pioneer plug then search for the song and then plug it back in. I have not clue on why this just happen.

I give it until this problem occurred

its made that way. It's so you aren't fumbling around scrolling through songs looking at your ipod while you are driving, atleast the deck is somewhat close to the windshield.
