Does anyone know if it is possible to put the factory cd player from an SS/SC into a 99 Blazer? I just took mine out and my dad wants it because it is an mp3 player. If this is possible what do you think I would need to do this. I was looking at it and it looks like it is the same size so I figured I would give it a shot.

I thought i read in my manual that it only works with ur cars vin. id double check what the manual says. i might of been dreaming but id check b4 installing.

 

I'm not 100% but I do not think it will work simply because of the Pioneer stereo in the SS and the theftlock. The wiring is different in the balt because of the amp routing of the speakers and wires. It would be better to purchase an aftermarket deck for the other vehicle.
