Please help... speakers arnt working
Please excuse my ignorance, but i have never installed a system with a stock amp....i have my box and aftermarket amp hooked up, and they work, but my stock speakers are not working... i was wondering if i have to bypass the stock amp, or is there something else im doing wrong?
I would like to run my inside, stock speakers to my stock amp, and my subs to my aftermarket amp.. would someone please give me some ideas on what i can do.

I have removed the factory HU and installed my two 12's... i just figured that the factory amp could power the stock speakers, and my amp could power my box...but only sound is coming from my box... itm pretty sure its a wiring issue?
when u said u took out the hu and hooked up ur amp what exactly did u do. im sure its a wiring problem as well but hooking up the bass if done right would do nothing to the speakers or sound in that regard. so to help u i need to know what you did to tell you what u did wrong.
Alright...i replaced the stock HU with my JVC HU...and wired it up...i then hooked up my box and amp. My box now works, but my speakers in my car do not. I figured i didnt hook up the wires right and i rewired and rewired...yesterday i ordered a wiring harness to make the job easier, so it should be cake once it comes in.
so u had no harness before?
anyway the problem in that case was probably the fact that you didnt wire up remote for the stock amp. the stock amp needs remote, and the 4 speaker wires to work properly.

...no i had no harness before.
Aha...you are probably correct because i just ran my remote from my sterio to my aftermarket amp, i forgot about the factory amp remote...
Thanks man!...

well i got my wiring harness...n i wiring everything...haha but now i got my back speakers to work but not my front... i wired the 12v from my fuse box...and i got my back speakers to work because i put the accessory wire with my power wires ...me n my pops were thinkin about sorta piggybackin the front speakers to the wires on the back for power....will this even work? or is there something else i could do that would be easier?
i was able to get the code and check it out via e-mail replies but ya it looks good. you can piggyback it like u were saying but the best thing would be to find out why its not working. check the color codes to make sure they are correct and if so swap the fronts and backs to see if its the radio. below is the code it says the color in the car first then the corresponding aftermarket color it should be hooked up to
Left Front Spkr (-) Light Gray White w/ Black Stripe
Left Front Spkr (+) Tan White
Right Front Spkr (-) Light Green Gray w/ Black Stripe
Right Front Spkr (+) Dark Green Gray
Ground Wire Black Black
Power Antenna Turn On Pink (if available) Blue
+12 Volt Battery Wire Orange Yellow
Right Rear Spkr (-) Light Blue Purple w/ Black Stripe

Left Rear Spkr (-) Yellow Green w/ Black Stripe
Left Rear Spkr (+) Brown Green
