popping noise on high volumes

ever since i installed my 4ch amp ive been having nothing but problems, the newest problem is whenever the volume is turned up i hear a popping noise every once and a while, it only lasts for a split second but on some songs it happens more than others...

could this be because i ripped like 90% of my songs off youtube (burned at 4x speed tho for sq purposes)

ive also thought maybe the ground was popping out or whatnot but this only happens when the car is running.

any help appericated

how high are the gains set on the amp and are the pass filters set on hpf, lpf or full

low pass on the 4ch amp...i have the option of HPF or LPF on the HU but lpf on the amp pretty much cuts out all the bass...

and emp i guess you didnt get my pm i sent a few days ago? maybe ur box was full...

but anyways i put my btl in my friend car with a 800rms amp and mmmmmm so so sweet, made my ears pop at looow volumes
