popping noise on high volumes

ever since i installed my 4ch amp ive been having nothing but problems, the newest problem is whenever the volume is turned up i hear a popping noise every once and a while, it only lasts for a split second but on some songs it happens more than others...

could this be because i ripped like 90% of my songs off youtube (burned at 4x speed tho for sq purposes)

ive also thought maybe the ground was popping out or whatnot but this only happens when the car is running.

any help appericated
