I am just wondering if you could explain an easy way to get the wires through the molex.
Maybe I was doing something wrong but when I did it just getting the "plastic pieces" or the molex out was only half the battle.
If you figured out an easier way perhaps youd like to share it with the rest of the class.

I have no tricks for this one. LOL i actually was hoping on running those wires thru to my doors a long ass time before i did but i couldnt get those plugs figured out (before i became an installer actually) so after 10 months of installing i just went at it one night. Dont remember when i started but i didnt finish till ~5 or 6am. Like you said removing the white molex plug is by far the hardest part

i wish i could give a how to. i think i took a few cheap pics with a disposable. I framed out the boxes with mdf to get general shape. then i made a skeleton of the sub enclosure and fleeced it and glassed. Took a while since each of the trunk is different so i couldnt just transfer measurements from one side to the other.

ill be honest, i wouldnt mind doing it. but i work mon-fr 8-5. it would take forever to get them done, not to mention the cost it would be to ship them. i mean even without the subs, wires, or amps installed the boxes were prolly damn near 50lbs each. if you were in FL this would be a diff story. sorry bro. have you ever built a box before?? or worked with fiberglass?

getting the wire in the door was cake for me. i just found an opening by the wiring harness in the rubber gromet in between the door and body. it was hard to shove through though.

I just took some solder and stripped the wire back a little and found an old coat hanger. I used core resin that would soak into the wire and then some acid based solder behind that wire to build up like a bubbles so the wire wouldn't slip off the end of the coat hanger when i pulled the coat hanger back through. As soon as the wire was through, touch it with the iron again and snip the stripped wire to start fresh.

Thays one I never thought of.
Was it a bitch getting the sodder/wire to stick to th coat hanger?

You know I did something similar but did it in stages my wire with a coat hanger was to thick to fit so I just taped string to end of the wire and taped the other end of the string to the coat hanger, feed the string through cut it from the coat hanger and then pulled the string with the wire attached to it,

I found getting through the molex to be the most difficult part, drilling out holes for the wire was a little nerve racking.

Sorry for adding to the thread jack
