put in new h/u now sub isnt working
so i put in my new hu today its a pioneer hu so heres my issues.i used the metra 70-2103 harness..now when i got it none of the wires matched the stock harness so i repined it to the diagram i found on here.then i ran the red wire straight to the red wire off the factory hu and ran the blue wire to the pink wire.
so all my speakers work but my stock sub isnt working and also the radio constantly stays on so if someoone can tell me what the issue is that would be great

I wired the red wire into my fuse box
I also cut the pink.wire and hooked it up to the blue/white wire on the hu
I think its on ill have to check in the morning so I don't wake people.
And was I supposed to repin the metra harness?

huh thats weird. guess metra messed up on that one. ive never had any issues with needing the repin the blue harnesses.
anyway about the sub not playing did u check the high pass filter? what model pioneer do u have?

no if its working now its working. im guessing metra pinned it wrong to begin with. just odd bc ive never seen it before but very possible not "surprising" either
did u check to see if you have a high pass and or if its on?

like if i turn the loudness on...cause its a pioneer deck then the sub hits harder but it sounds like ****
like when i got the harness the black wire was on the left side of the plug but on the factory plub it was on the right so i repined it ill find the diagram i used so you can see if its right

Ok so im in the car found some.issues
Ok if.I adjust the fade/balance to say all the way to the rear the sub wont work and only the rear speakers work.but if I put it to the rear and adjust all the sound to either full left or full right it comes on but if its center the sub is off

then yes its out of phase. so you need to switch one of the rear speakers polarity (pos/neg) and your going to be good to go
idk the pin out so idk what was messed up but if you want to technically get it correct the stock colors are
Right dark blue+ light blue -
left brown+ yellow -

ok ill make it simple... pull out your radio. look for the two purple wires coming out of your pioneer radio. cut both wires wire the one with the black line to the one with out and visa versa. put the radio back in and done
