You can make anything Fit if am not mistaking though the stock sterio is double den, so is the monitor, so it should fit. as for the controls on the steering wheel, all depends on it has the hook ups i guess

DIN stands for Deutsches Institut für Normung. its basically like a standard. most cd players are single DIN but the indash dvds are double. Since it takes up two slots.

I have a double din kenwood in my car and there is a difference in size, but if you get this install kit it will fit perfectly.
METRA DOUBLE DIN INSTALL KIT CHEVROLET/PONTIAC 95-3302
just go to a car audio shop and they should have it.

I just installed a Pyle dvd player and flip out screen. I used the metra double din install kit and it all fit perfectly. you have to buy another module for the steering wheel controls. if you search on the site im sure you can find something.

it fit nicely

I installed that exact unit Kenwood DDX 6019 in my 06 Cobalt LT and it fit really nice. You basically use the Metra double din kit as mentioned above. It looks like a factory fit. As for the steering wheel controls, you will need to get an adapter as mentioned above to have those work. Mine do not work, but I really don't care as I use the remote for the unit.

By the way, it's a really nice player, you'll love it.
