quick question

I have the pioneer set up for the SS cobalts...i can hear some distortion when pushing the speakers kinda high with no eq...
I had a g6 with a normal stereo and the speakers sounded thicker and more clear then this car...

I don't want to go thru the trouble of adding a amp for all my door speakers but would like to drop in new speakers if it's gona make a noticeable difference...

will upgraded speakers off the stock stereo improve things?

the upgraded speakers would help but you will normaly loose some bass so....i would upgrade the front speakers and leave the backs...but for best quality replace and amplify the speaks....

Honestly, I'd just install a new head unit. It made my speakers sound like all new speakers.

running aftermarket 4 ohm speakers on the stock 2 ohm amp will decrease volume. they will sound better but everything will be quieter
