rca cables help

so i installed my 4 channel amp today into my cobalt. I was cleaning everything up and putting my headunit back in when it decided not to fit... the rca cables in the back of the headunit keep it from going in all the way so my stereo is still scattered all over the inside of my car... any ideas on how i can fix this??

Did you gut the inside of your dash? I know I had to remove the bracket on the inside of my dash to get my head unit to fit.

yea dude......like NDSS said, gut it. remove the metal bracket in the back.

make sure your RCAs are nice and neat, bulky and messy makes it hard to fit. glad to hear you got your amp in. did you grab that kicker amplifier or did you find something else?

probably have to cut the little bar.. my antenna wire hits it and makes it a tight fit but I luckily didnt have to cut it out.
