own a 2009 g5 and yesterday i went to start my car with the remote(Press lock then start) but i pressed locked the lights flashed then i pressed the start button as normal but when i pressed the start button the park lights only flashed once and the car never started. Does anybody know whythis is not starting ? i don't have a cel on, all doors are closed, hood is latched, trunk is locked.......( 8100KM's )

Any Ideas......BESIDES going to the dealer.....thanks

 

does your trunk open with the clicker?

 

lock works.....unlock works.....trunk works.....alarm works......no CEL....all doors are shut and hood and trunk is closed and locked.....when i start it i press lock then start and it always worked b4. but now i press lock and the start button the park lamps flash when i press start. any ideas besides dealer....i hate the dealer.....

 

look for a fuse when my trunk fuser/ cig blew it did the same thing

 

My remote start is like that too. I had it to the dealer once......they replaced my keyfobs and it was fine for about half of a year. It does it occasionally again now.

I've got an '09 Cobalt LT and mine started doing something similar a few weeks ago as well.
Every time I try to start it up, the lights flash and the car honks a few times
