Remote start

I have a 2007 Cobalt ls sedan, which doesn't come with a remote start. My remote has a remote start button. I was wondering if anyone knows if I could pull a remote start off a similar year Cobalt and install it on mine without having to modify my vehicle other then just plugging the start in.

You can but it will have to be programmed into your bcm by a tech2. It would be easier to just by the omegalink remote start. Its around $90 and its plug and play as long as it is programmed for your car by the seller. I bought it for my 2009 g5 about 2 years ago and it is my favorite feature on my car. It also uses your stock key fob.
