Post Remote starters?

I have been looking into possible getting a remote starter for my car for those freezing mornings. The past few weeks have been in the low 20's to teens here in the panhandle of texas, something I'm not use to at all.

I have the past few days woken up and went started my car while I get ready for school usually about 10-15 minutes-ish. I take my keyless entry remote and lock it so no one can take my car while i am inside.

Does starting you car(in like 20's ish) and letting it set in idle to heat up cause any kinds of damage to the car?

What kits would you recommend if anyone here has one? (price range to look at?)

I don't really car about an upgraded alarm for my car, mainly just letting it heat up when cold or cool when hot out.

One i found on ebay, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Remot...Q5fAccessories

My car is manual, which that ebay kit doesn't seem to specify and ingear safety precautions. Are these kits very hard to install?(on a manual car)

another alternative that seems like a pretty good deal(never heard of this brand, seems almost too cheap for it) http://www.audiosavings.com/products...e7.r185b0.aspx

Worst comes to worst i think I might just look into putting a regular auto one on my manual car. I never EVER leave my car in gear and no one drives my car without me in it. I live in lubbock tx, there are absolutely no hills here so i never have a reason to leave it in gear.
Any help / advice appricated

You can use an auto one in a manual trans car. Just make sure that you don't use the system if someone else had to move/use your car since you cannot be sure how they parked it (It annoys me when my roomate parks the car in 2nd).

i have this in my manual car http://mobile.audiovox.com/audiovox/...ODUCT_ID=CA650
there are 3 different safety inputs for it one i hooked to the e brake one is hooked to a switch and the last one is hooked to a set of switches around the shifter so if it is in gear it wont start.
i always park it in gear habit from my old truck without a e-brake
