Remote wire for amps in 2007 LT

allright guys i understand u can run a remote line via a fuse tap........i was wondering if there are any remote lines already there.

for example a power antenna line.......obviously the cobalt dosn't have one but i cant see GM making different wiring harness for their entire line up of cars...

any thoughts or suggestions?

there are extra accessory leads in the fusebox, but tapping into them would require a lot of hassle, i would think.

if you're totally opposed to the fuse tap idea, that's your best bet.

yes im using the stock radio.......dont wont a flashy look...."sleeper" bass lol

and ya i just need to know if there is a remote that is back there that isnt connected....

lol i kinda figured........looks like im running a remote with a fuse tap....im kinda shocked that there isnt one back there but hey w-e i gotta run the front speakers to the LOC and to the amp and back anyway so whats one more wire....thanks for the info

ya well i know other gm wiring harness had it pre ran for a power antanna but had no antanna (ex my dads lesabre w/o power antanna)

whats the best gauge wire to run for a remote? and do i need an inline fuse for it?

ya those days are far over.... 18g is plenty. at the shop we normally run an inline fuse(something small like 5a or lower) whenever possible but not really necessary if your using the add a fuse or fuse tap on the correct side of the fuse but still extra protection is nice

now i have an 07 LT without a sunroof........tapping into that fuse is my best bet right?
