here's a few pics of a power 1000 im trying out... looks awesome!




Im using it to power the midranges and midbasses at the moment and using one of the ppi a600s for the center channel. I'm truly amazed. idk what it is but man the center channel just makes it sound better... normally im pretty good at putting my finger on why it sounds better worse ect but i honestly cant hear it playing when i have it on it sounds like perfect stereo. but i flip the switch to turn it off and you can tell right away its just not the same. crazy

i should get some videos of the spectrum analyzer up soon. sadly this is only temporary and the amp will eventually be sold to someone else to enjoy

it's a really good amp. pretty sure that model he's got specifically has been discontinued. one of the last of em right there.

 

may i ask what the tow strap is being used for?

lol nope. neither have i but it works surprisingly well. I have lil plates with hooks welded to them bolted to the floor of the trunk and the strap holds it down. the 2X4 on top is to prevent the box from sliding forward in the case of an accident and i have some l brackets as well but the screws would come loose every few months so i just covered them in damp pro so i dont know if they are in still or loose or what

 

**** what ever works works...lol and hahah with the coating, should hold it together. when are you ever going to stick with an amp long enough so you can finish the rear panels of your trunk lol

 

lol probably never. idk not that big of a deal for me **** it. ill put the t4000 back in once im done with this one. it wont be in too long to be honest

I have this same amp #1743 of only 2500 ever made. A great amp for sure. Install looks cool...

yes im using it for the es-07s, the hertz hv-200s, and the xxx's. The es-02s are on the ppi a200 and the center is on the a600

 

aww. i sorta want two of them to run most of my system BUT i would lose my awesome switching power
