Slow Power Windows

I have an 06 SS s/c and for the longest time the power windows are very slow. Does anyone else have this problem? How can i speed them up? When the car is not running they go even slower which would make me think that it is a power problem, but i have never had any before with my head unit or subs. Should i upgrade the motor?

Im thinking i will just replace the motors. When i get somewhere and park i have to wait like five seconds for both windows to roll up. The passenger is also slower than the driver.

Could be more, but all i know is that they are slow and when they get towards the top they really start creeping.

mine are mad slow as well. Seems like the passenger side is slower. I'll have the dealership take a look next time I have it in. I have a list of minor things to get checked out.

I have the same problem, they both are slow, but the passenger is even slower! Will the warranty cover something like this? And sometimes when i am driving with the windows cracked or half way down the will rattle really bad. Does anyone else have this problem?

a buddy of mine had slow window motors in his cavalier so he put in motors out of a dodge pickup, and they worked extremely fast... maybe because the motor was meant to push more weigh???

I would take it to the dealership but if it is a chevy thing then there is no point. What should i look for when getting a non gm motor?

Same here, window tints made it worse. Drivers side is ok i guess, but the passenger side is super slow. Sometimes I wonder if it will amke it all the way up

On hot days mine will stop about 2" from being closed. I have to reach over and kinda push it up. That window has my greasy fingerprints all over it.
