Angry So i pick up my car....

So i pick up my car from a shop getting tints put on and a backup camera installed. There closing at the time i get it. So im all pumped like **** yea my cars looken good right now. I get on the parkway then im wait My lights for my dash arent working, hvac lights, door sill buttons arent lighting up but everything else works. And to top it off i get home holding a flashlight to my speedometer so i could see it. I check out my tints and it looks like the matrix part of the tints are ****. They have like a white film under them, soap and water im guessing? Im going back tomorrow to complain and make them fix it.

So anyway back to the main problem. Could they have undone a connection when they put in the camera that controls all those lights? Maybe a fuse, idk im lost.

Check the parking light fuse in the under hood fuse box.

it COULD be because the tint is brand new but not entirely sure.

and check the fuse. They should of caught this before letting your car go back to you...but stuff happens

The white film should be something like elmers glue, if it's not there the tint won't stick to the dot matrix. It should dry clear after a few days. There should be a light for interior lights as well as that parking light fuse. Never hurts to pull a few extra fuses to check them.

first off tint at night is a bad idea. tint needs sun and heat to look good to decent so the only advantage of a night pick up is u don't see how fucked it really is. secondly id still ask anyway bc they fucked up ur lights but as long as u dont **** it up it will get better after a few days again with sun and heat. lastly WTF is with ur lights bro? i could probably figure it out but stop ******* with ur car and take it back. u paid a shop to do the work so let them fix it

Im going to go to a different place for the tints see what they say, but ill probably use vinyl to cover the top matrix atleast

That sucks. I've learned not to pickup a car after closing or close to closing. I picked up my car from a 100k service and both sides of it had the **** scratched out of the paint. PISSED. Police report and drove home. Yelled at them next, claimed they didn't to it. Bullshit, even lines on both sides of cars is one of your idiots with keys or metal on pants. They did have a local shop fix the minor denting, and buff the paint. All better, but not admitting to it pissed me off.
