Speaker Harness

Will I need something like this to hook up my new Infinity speakers in my Cobalt, without having to cut the wires?

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-ZT3dE10...100&I=12071014

If needed, anyone know where to get these in Toronto area?

Thanks

Can someone who has replaced their stock speakers, tell me how they attached the wires to their new speakers then please? I'd like to know before I remove my door/rear lid panels.

The harness would be the professional way of doing it and best way of course. Or you could tap into the speaker harness and connect the wires that way. Dont cut the plug off of anything. Just plain unnecessary.

Is that speaker harness the correct one for the Cobalt? Just interested for future referrence in case I have to install speakers on a Cobalt at work. We only have the new style GM speaker harness which that is in that link along with the older ones.

They said it was the right one. That's all I can go by so far.

Ok cool then that would be it. There's no new GM speaker harness I'm aware of.

Ya but all this doesn't help me in Canada. They don't ship here.

Best Buy or an equivalent retail store carries them.

I spent last weekend going to many different stereo/car stereo stores here in Toronto with no luck. While I haven't been to Best Buy here, I have been to Future Shop (same store type/owned by Best Buy) and they don't have them.
