so i totally want to replace my stock 6 x 9s with some infinitys i got. does anyone actually know how to take that back panel out from under the back windshield or is their an easier way of taking them out? much appreciated...
yup, I've done it. (Ls Coupe)
Step 1: Take the head rests off
Step 2: Take off ONE side of the side panneling in the rear seat, and unfortunatly you will have to remove the seatbealt (in my case).
Step 3: "Push in" the clips for the paneling (under the rear windsheild) located in the trunk, near the front (look around...you'll find them)
Step 4: Lift the panneling pull towards the front of the car (since the seatbelts loop through it)
Step 5: Take out the old...put in the new
Do the reverse in order to put it back toegether.
All in all it wasnt too hard...took about an hour to take apart, but was easy to put back.
All it took was one nights work.
hope this helps
